"I have a rich of experience growing up in a family that had a close connection with the Knights of Columbus. My dad was a Knight for 60 years. During my early years I can remember the relationships between the families that my parents were very close too. At the center of those relationships was the K of C bond that they had in common. There was a great sense of unity, fraternity and charity that was very special and it made a lasting impression on me.
I became a Knight because I hope to continue with that same sense of tradition and unity that influenced my life over the years. I also realized it was an opportunity to grow as a Catholic man in world that has many needs to address." - Michael Murphy
