Leave No Neighbor Behind
This year’s focus within this program is supporting those impacted by COVID-19. This included contacting fellow Knights and coordinating with the Parish Office for parishioners that are in need of assistance during these difficult times. The program also supports collecting food for disadvantages individuals and supporting local Food Banks.

The primary objective of this Council Program is to reach out to the disadvantage members of the community and Brother Knights, especially those that are elderly or facing health issues, to assist them with basic life tasks that they are struggling with. An example of Helping Hands is the recent Breakfast Program that was established for the Overnight Safe Parking Guests.

This is a new program for the Knights this year. The plan is to partner with the Religious Education Program Leaders at SJTB and have the theme for the essay to be consistent with the theme of the Religious Education Program this fall. The Essay Contest will be coupled with the annual Poster Contest. Elementary students will participate in the poster contest, and all other students will be offered the opportunity to participate in the essay contest.
